Matthew Wood

Matthew Wood has held senior sales leadership roles and has over 20 years’ experience in corporate sales, having worked for some of the UK's most successful and dynamic organisations in the UK.

During his career Mr Wood has been heavily involved in numerous large global outsourcing deals, involving the transfer of staff and business process outsourcing with extensive experience across a variety of sectors.

Mr Wood started his career in sales working for Tiny Computers as an Area Sales Manager tasked with rescuing underperforming units returning them to growth and profitability.

Furthering his career Matthew was headhunted to lead the sales efforts of Synstar International, a global IT service provider, securing multi-million-pound deals across a variety of service offerings prior to the acquisition of Synstar by Hewlett Packard.

Mr Wood joined the ICM Computer Group in 2005 and was ultimately promoted to Client Director for the group and worked through ICM's acquisition by the Phoenix IT Group, developing and strengthening a number of the Group's key strategic relationships and direction throughout his tenure.

Mr Wood was invited to join the board and invested in the acquisition of Concorde Informatics Limited, a Specialist HP partner in the North of England, spearheading the revolution of the business from a moribund service provider, implementing a product and marketing strategy to realign the business and to develop the organisation into a more relevant and dynamic business fit for growth.

Mr Wood also has successful experience in two trade sales, one BIMBO and five acquisitions.
